Children love surprises, so if you do not have time to see them before you leave for work in the morning, leave them a short video or note. Your message will make their day, and you will be able to show that you are sorry you couldn’t spend the morning with them, but that you sincerely appreciate the time you could have spent with them.
13. Attend School or Class with Your Child
Ensure that your children attend school and any extra classes that they may have. By doing so, you will have more time together. Utilize your travel time to spend time with each other!
14. Go on an excursion every month
Each month, choose a new place to visit. Would a museum be a good choice? What about a theme park or water park? Plan the excursion together with your children.
15. Share stories about your family
Talk about the history of your family. Bring out old photo albums and browse through them with your children. Make it a habit to collect new family pictures every week.
